A BLAST FROM THE PAST! When the animated show Gargoyles burst onto TV screens in the mid-1990s, it immediately gained a devoted following that clamored for more tales about the stony guardians of the night. In 1995, Marvel answered that call with a new series that featured the first comics work of young artist named AMANDA CONNER — and the rest is history! (Or perhaps we should say, legend!) In this title’s action-packed story, workers at a construction site are threatened by a fearsome creature who looks like a Gargoyle, but may be something much deadlier. It’s up to Goliath and his fellow Manhattan Clan members, along with NYPD Detective Elisa Maza, to get to the bottom of the mystery — and keep more people from getting hurt. Written by acclaimed comics scribes MARTIN PASKO and MORT TODD, this first Gargoyles comic book series has never been reprinted in its entirety — until now! Collecting all eleven issues of the original Marvel Comics run, Gargoyles: Classic Years is the first release in a planned three-volume series from Dynamite and Disney that will present each of the long-out-of-print Gargoyles comics titles from the 1990s and early 2000s in beautiful new editions. Featuring a stunning covers from JOE MADUREIRA and JIMMY PALMIOTTI, this debut volume kicks off the series with a bang — don’t miss out!
