A NEW ERA OF THE LEGION, COLLECTED HERE! The foundation of the Legion's world has always been that the universe of the 30th century is a utopia; that crime, disease, war, and even death have largely been conquered; and that humankind has reached a new golden age. But a lot can change in five years. After a war between science and magic caused a galactic upheaval that left the Legion without funding, purpose, or support, the Legion disbanded. But one thing hasn't vanished completely...the original dream. Only one of the few remaining heroes remembers what it was all about, what the Legion once represented. And he's out to put the band together. Collects LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES #1-39, LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES ANNUAL #1-3, THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #478, and TIMBER WOLF #1-5.
